Wipe Your Nose of Hay Fever Symptoms
Hay fever sufferers could soon be waving goodbye to their symptoms, thanks to a revolutionary form of acupuncture.
Auricular therapy is a 30-minute treatment, which diagnoses electrically active acupuncture points in the body, has proven to help reduce the symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. The treatment, which is available from Advanced Healing and Beauty clinics across the Midlands, helps the natural healing process of the body, and enhances the immune system.
Emily Cooper, from Warwickshire, has been receiving the treatment for the last two summers.
She said: “I’ve had hay fever for seven years and with the typical runny nose, itchy eyes but also severe flu like fever aches and pains, sore throat and tightness in my chest.
“I was prescribed a bag-full of medicines from my GP including an inhaler, eye drops, nose spray and antihistamine tablets. I have now put that bag in the bin! Two treatments sees me through the entire season symptom free”, she explained
Auricular therapy is a specialised acupuncture of the entire body, which involves diagnosis of electrically active acupuncture points. These are only detectable if there is something wrong with the body. The therapist locates points on the outer ear by detecting increased electrical skin conductivity. The increase in electrical conductivity correlates exactly with a problem in the corresponding part of the body.
Samantha Hill, Director of Advanced Healing and Beauty, Coventry, said: “We have had amazing results treating clients with hay fever and we want to spread the word that this is a simple and effective treatment.
“There is a big cost to employers who have staff off sick with hay fever symptoms and it can be a really miserable time for sufferers. Many people only need one or two treatments to see them through the entire season”, she added.
The innovative treatment is available from Advanced Healing and Beauty Clinics, in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire.
