'Whodunnit' to raise money for Solihull charity

With Christmas just around the corner families will be breaking out the board games, but how about a life size version of Cluedo?

The Sharmans Cross, Prospect Lane, are holding a Murder Mystery night next month to raise funds for Solihull Downs Syndrome Support Group.

Locals are invited to attend the movie awards-themed evening on December 5th which is guaranteed to be a fun and glamorous affair.

There are 50 characters to be played, these will be given on a first come, first serve basis, anyone else who wants to play detective can be a spectator. Each character will get a card, briefing them on who they are and what secret they are hiding, along with other useful facts to help the game along.

As it is a movie awards theme, parts include actresses, divas, singers, paparazzi and mad fans! And of course all characters will be expected to dress up.

Alison Foster, Sharmans Cross manager has written it all herself: “I'm really excited to see this all play out! We did a gangster themed murder mystery in May which was a great success, but I'm hoping turn-out for this one will be even better, especially as we're raising money for such a good cause.”
