Wear it with pride

Following the recent proposed take-over of Cadbury by American food giant Kraft, a Bristol-based t-shirt company has seen sales rocket.

F*CK STAR, a company which prints personal slogans on t-shirts, received an unprecedented number of requests to design a protest t-shirt to the Cadbury take-over. Subsequently, the F*CK KRAFT t-shirt has become the number one selling t-shirt of the year so far, out-selling the anti-celebrity t-shirt 'F*CK BIG BROTHER'.

F*CK STAR have already sold 85 'F*CK KRAFT' t-shirts - double the normal total weekly sales. 33 of them were purchased by women.

“I know that when I wear this t-shirt everyone will be 100% supportive,” said an anonymous Cadbury factory worker based in Keynsham, Bristol. “We all know that they [Kraft] are not honest about their intentions to keep this factory open.”

Protest Media set up F*CK STAR a year ago in protest to the UK’s celebrity culture, it’s useless politics and anything else suggested by the general public, thus allowing people to 'wear what they think'.

The company originally used stencils to create its unique art but due to high demand and an increased number of lines, the garments are still made to order but are now digitally printed.

Customers can order t shirts protesting about anything from football to politics. It's proved so popular that expansion plans are underway which will see customers able to order stickers and other campaign material.
