Unique designer watch to be a hit this Christmas time

A new watch from a highly-acclaimed San Francisco designer is becoming the ‘must have’ timepiece this season.

The Issey Miyake “Vue”, which was showcased at this year’s International Jewellery London exhibition, is unique as it only shows the current hour whilst the others are kept out of sight.

Designer, Yves Béhar, wanted to make a statement about “the preciousness of time”, he said: “The mind-set of the watch is to let the mystery of time be experienced, the watch is a way to feel time’s appearance and disappearance in our lives.

“By seeing only the current hour, while the last hour representing the past, and the next one representing the future, subtly fade in and out, we can live a new view of time.”

Manchester-based watch and jewellery distributors, MSS Watch Company Ltd., recently announced that they would be the sole UK distributors of the “Vue”.
Company Director, Stanley Morris, said: “We are delighted to be the only UK distributor of the new Issey Miyake “Vue”, which we are certain will be a hit.

“Most people will recognise Japanese designer, Issey Miyake, for his iconic clothing and perfume collections. However, very few people know that he also produces a fabulous range of watches, all of which can be viewed on our website.”
