Tri Windermere 2012
The third annual Tri Windermere date has been announced by organisers, Adventure Challenge Solutions.
The event, famous for extremes of weather, 2010’s event making it one of the most challenging undertaken by triathletes that year, and 2011’s event bathing in glorious sunshine, has seen numbers doubling year on year.
Event organiser Davy Newell of Adventure Challenge Solutions said:
‘This event has become a staple of every competitive triathlete in the UK today, and we’re always thrilled with the feedback from the event, it never fails to get people hyped. ‘
Adventure Challenge Solutions has also announced that 2012 is set to be a record year, and in a difficult climate, has secured investment to assist with the further growth of the company. The team is set to expand at the start of the year, and has been pleased to secure two new event co-ordinators, who start in March 2012.
‘We’re absolutely thrilled at the positivity and feedback that we’ve had from our competitors, which has ultimately resulted in this exciting investment’ said Davy. ‘And clearly, capitalising on the investment that has been secured, means that competitors can continue to expect a second to none race experience’.
