Surefire hit for fun-seeking students

Students in Staffordshire are being given the chance to take advantage of a free day of paintballing to help them settle into university life.

Stafford-based Project Paintball thinks paintballing is a fantastic, fun way, to meet new people, helping students to get the University year off to a flying start, and has come up with the plan for a brilliant day out. The first 500 people to book their place will receive a day’s play free of charge.

Managing Director Richard Tomkinson said: "People have to book in advance to take advantage of the free day, although it is available to all members of the public, so students should book quickly to avoid disappointment”.

The offer gives players the chance to take part in between eight and twelve games, based over various game scenarios and sites; including undulating terrain, purpose built forts, bridges, villages and speedball arenas. All equipment, a light lunch, tea and coffee are also provided, free of charge.

Players simply need to pay a £10 deposit when booking, which will be refunded on the day, towards the cost of their paintballs. Paintballs normally cost £7 per 100, but to help students stretch their budgets even further, they have been reduced to £6 per 100 for the duration of the offer. As a special incentive, groups of ten or more players will get 1,000 free paintballs if all members of their group turn up on the day.
