Success Sees New Appointment at DSSe
Drain specialist DSS Environmental Limited is strengthening its management team with the appointment of Kim Sharma as their Director of Finance.
Kim, a Chartered Accountant, previously worked as Group Financial Director for CPP (Manufacturing) Ltd and comes to the company with years of accountancy and commercial experience.
This move follows a significant contract win for Birmingham-based DSSe with Enterprise Managed Services for United Utilities Asset Maintenance Period (AMP5).
In the last six months, DSSe has gone from strength to strength, building on their high quality environmental drain and sewer services.
Now DSSe’s comprehensive range of sewer services has enabled the company further success with Enterprise for the Severn Trent Water AMP5 period contract.
Brad Witt, Managing Director is delighted with the progress of his company:
“The Company has now secured sustainable contracts for both its Northern Operations Centre in Irlam and Central Operations from Dudley, giving us a stable platform throughout the AMP5 period. Given this sales and operational growth, it was identified by the Board that it was essential to develop the necessary level of control within its Financial and Accounting Department.
“The appointment of Kim has now provided DSS Environmental with this dimension. Kim has exceeded all of our expectations and has already proven herself invaluable in her role and we are now in a position to continue to strengthen the company.”
DSSe also has an established client base outside the utilities sector and is an approved sub-contractor for many of the UK's large Construction and Civil Engineering firms, Local Authorities and the Highways Agency.
Their ability to develop and deliver quality information reporting systems for client ease of use and understanding continues to underpin them as one of the leading suppliers of drain and sewer CCTV survey, cleaning, mapping, HADDMS and repair services in the UK today.
