Stylish new collection of Danish Design watches to be unveiled at International Jewellery

A Manchester company is set to unveil the new range of stylish Ceramic watches by Danish Design at the forthcoming International Jewellery show.

MSS Watch Company Ltd is the sole distributor in the UK for the range, which is known for its simple elegance and design.
The six new ladies’ and gents’ watches will be showcased for the first time at the leading UK trade fair at Earls Court between September 5 - 8.

Martin Morris, of the Swinton-based firm, said he expected there to be a lot of interest in the unusual Ceramic watches, which start from £210 (RRP).

“We're really excited to have the exclusive UK showing of these watches,” he said.

“Ceramic watches have really taken off in the last ten years and the new Danish Design range really is beautiful. They are not particularly common to the market and are generally found in the higher price brackets.”

Danish Designs was launched in 1988 by S. Weisz Uurwerken BV. Demand for the high quality modern watches, which are anti-allergic, comfortable to wear and come with a two-year worldwide warranty, soon grew.

The firm uses Danish freelance designers, such as Martin Larsen, Anna Gotha and Per Haanbaek, for its collections. The watches are now distributed in more than 30 countries worldwide, including USA, Russia, Australia and Japan and sales stand at about 475,000 pieces a year.
