SOUTH WALES SOFTWARE FIRM SEALS MULTINATIONAL DEAL

In a move seen to herald the start of an exciting, long-term partnership between South Wales and the international trading community, Accounting Office Software Ltd confirms a significant order from international food supplier, Agra Trading.

Agra, part of the multinational Kepak group, is set to install Accounting Office’s comprehensive My.N software package, which promises to enhance the productivity and growth of the already successful multinational company.

My.N is a complete business software package encompassing accounting, ordering, stock control and distribution tools, alongside an extensive customer relationship management suite.

From Accounting Office’s headquarters in Neath, Managing Director Ian Richards said, “This is great news for a local company to win an order from such a high-profile business which operates all over the world.”

Accounting Office faced steep competition from software industry  heavyweights, but were able to secure the order after showing an understanding and flexibility to work within the difficult parameters of the meat processing industry.

“Agra Trading was keen to install a system which would minimise the huge risks that are associated with trading in multiple currencies across many continents, as well as the administrative nightmare of ensuring that all documentation, finance, produce and shipping is available at the right time, to the right people, in the right format” said Richards.

Agra trades top quality foodstuffs throughout the world, in particular to Egypt, Russia, Africa, the European Union, the Middle East and the Far East.
