South Wales Children's Charity Receives An Early Christmas Parcel
A health and safety specialist has kitted out a major charity with first-aid essentials to help ensure minor mishaps don’t stop disabled children from enjoying fantastic experiences.
RT Training Services in Pontypridd has thrown its support behind the charity Follow Your Dreams by presenting its managers with six first
aid kits.
The company, which is based at the Upper Boat Business Centre, provides training in a variety of health and safety related subjects, including first aid.
It is also a well-known provider of training to the childcare sector in Wales. Bosses made their move after deciding they wanted to help charitable organisations in their area.
Follow Your Dreams works hard to raise awareness about young people with learning disabilities and helps them to realise their full potential.
Part of its work includes, making their aspirations and dreams come true, particularly within the fields of the arts, music, drama and sport.
RT Training Services Director of Communications, Stuart Thompson said: “The charity undertakes exceptional work to help young people realise their full potential and we are pleased to support this work by providing the first aid kits.
“The kits will be carried by the Dream Co-ordinators when they are going to external venues in order to make dreams come true for young people.”
Follow Your Dreams Charity Co-ordinator, Mike Williams thanked the training company for all its support. He added that the organisation is always looking for corporate sponsors or businesses which would like to sponsor a dream, as well as fundraisers who are able to organise events, stage raffles or even simply putting out collecting tins.
