Shropshire Restaurant and Hotel Receives Marketing Boost From Irun

One of Shropshire's leading restaurants and hotels, The Hundred House Hotel in Norton, just outside Telford, has selected Irun Business Intelligence to look after its marketing strategy and develop a new website. The Hundred House is one of only two restaurants in the Telford area to have been awarded two AA Rosettes for excellent food. With ten bedrooms and full conference facilities the hotel also caters for private dining, weddings and training events, including its own Masterchef classes.

"Over the years The Hundred House has earned a reputation for good food but we’d also like to increase awareness of our 17th century tithe barn conference facilities and our excellent accommodation,” explains co-owner and Head Chef Stuart Phillips, “having looked at the multitude of marketing options out there, Irun really stood out as having the strongest solutions and best business connections."

Irun has already helped The Hundred House Hotel access £1,000 in government funding to assist in developing its marketing strategy and the next phase is to replace the current website with a search engine friendly version that can also be easily updated by staff. A social media strategy will also be implemented, using sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to keep customers up to date with events, offers and new menus. Irun will then provide ongoing marketing advice and support to the hotel.
