Save Time and Money with Refurbished NDT Equipment

A Staffordshire based company is urging engineering companies to become more efficient and save thousands of pounds by purchasing refurbished non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment.

NDT Plant, based in Burton-Upon-Trent, specialise in buying and selling second hand NDT equipment which can be used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system non-destructively ie no damage to the component.

Because NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected, it is a highly valuable technique that can save both time and money in product evaluation, troubleshooting and research.

Common NDT methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, remote visual inspection (RVI), eddy-current testing.

NDT Plant specialise in buying and selling second hand NDT equipment. They are one of the few companies in the UK where you can buy used NDT equipment, and save up to 70%.

This can mean an extra revenue stream for all companies that have excess, redundant or old equipment in their cupboards.

Ted Peake, from NDT Plant, said: “The cost of NDT equipment is escalating. Second hand equipment is much cheaper. NDT plant recondition and calibrate all second hand equipment. We have over 30 years of experience in this specialised industry."
