Rising Business Star Shines in Top 30 List
A YOUNG Cardiff-based entrepreneur has been given a glowing recommendation this week, after being named as one of Wales’ Thirty Under 30 Rising Stars.
James Robinson, Managing Director of Zeffa, a media planning and buying agency, received the glowing accolade for his services in the media sector.
The list is compiled annually by the Western Mail Newspaper, and is comprised of 30 up-and-coming Welsh business people.
James was understandably delighted to receive this accolade: “I am honoured to be recognised as a Rising Star in Welsh business. I couldn’t have achieved this without the support of my amazing team - they’re all stars!”
The 30 named on the list range in age, from 19 to 30, and are drawn from businesses all over Wales.
The majority are ambitious entrepreneurs, who are already driving impressive market share, while some are making their mark in business advisory roles, in fields such as law and property.
The Western Mail believes that if Wales is to improve the competitiveness of its economy then it needs to encourage more entrepreneurship and risk-taking amongst young people.
It also believes that some of the 30 Rising Stars will go on to achieve even greater things with their current businesses.
This is not the first accolade James has received this year. The 30 year-old was also recognised as the Young Director of the Year, by the Institute of Directors (IOD), in April.
Zeffa already has a wide range of high profile regular clients, including Arriva Trains Wales, the National Trust, Visit Wiltshire and Wales Millennium Centre.
