One Stop for Convenience in Rhyl

Shopping got a little more convenient for local residents, with the opening of a new store Thursday 7th July.

The new One Stop store, on Grange Road, Rhyl, opened its doors with the promise of being ‘the best for customers in the neighbourhood’, with a celebratory launch day on Saturday 9th July.

Rainbow the Clown was on hand to entertain the store’s customers and staff, and local charity, St. Kentigern Hospice, were delighted to receive a donation of £200 from the store’s manager, Sharon Lewis. Local firm, For Every Occasion also brightened up the day, supplying four colourful balloon columns to adorn the storefront.

The One Stop store, which was previously a Spar store, will trade seven days a week, and is open from 6am till 11pm. Facilities on offer for customers include a free-to-use cash machine, E Top-Up, National Lottery and PayPoint.

Alongside the 1,519 households within the 500m radius of the store, the new store will also prove a welcome arrival for the pupils of Rhyl High School, located opposite.

Sharon Lewis, Store Manager said:

“We’re delighted to have opened the store. Our long opening hours, coupled with fantastic daily offers will ensure we have something for everyone.”

“The One Stop chain offers great value and great customer service and I am confident my team and I will be able to bring that and more to local people”, she added.

The One Stop store chain has an enviable retail record and operates stores across England and Wales – many of which serve the needs of small urban communities. The chain employs more than 7000 people across its operations.
