One Stop Convenience Stores – Now Open – On Your Doorstep!
Residents in Cockermouth and Workington are now able to benefit from the re-opening of two local convenience stores, following a change in ownership.
The One Stop stores, previously run by Mills Group, on Main Street, in Cockermouth and Main Road, in Seaton, opened their doors on Thursday (28th), following extensive refurbishments.
The stores trade from 5am till 11pm seven days a week, and offer a great range of products from Grocery and Chilled Foods to Household, Health and Beauty and Baby. Customers are also able to benefit from fantastic offers every day.
For added convenience, both stores also provide National Lottery, PayPoint and E Top-up facilities, whilst the store in Workington additionally houses a Post Office and a free-to-use cash machine, making it a complete ‘one stop’ solution for local residents.
Tony Reed, CEO of One Stop, said:
“This is exciting news for One Stop. Acquiring the Mills stores in Cockermouth and Workington means we can introduce One Stop’s quality, range and value to the local community.”
"We’ve made a significant investment in refurbishing the stores, creating a better shopping experience. I'm also happy to confirm that we have been able to bring down prices and delighted to be able to welcome our customers to come in and look around."
“The change in ownership is also great news for the stores’ staff, as all of the original Mills team have been able to continue in their positions in the new One Stop stores.”
