New jobs are a convenient development
The residents of Duston, Northamptonshire saw the opening of a new convenience store last week. The One Stop store, at St. Crispin's Local Centre on Kent Road, opened its doors to customers with a promise of being ‘the best for customers in the neighbourhood’.
The new store has also given the local economy a welcome boost after bosses hired fourteen employees to run the new store, which will serve the new housing development, adjacent to the Princess Marina Hospital.
The store, which will trade seven days a week, will open from 7am till 10pm, Monday to Saturday and 8am till 7pm on Sundays. Facilities on offer for customers include a free to use cash machine, E Top Up, National Lottery and Paypoint.
Mary Friel, Store Manager said: “We’re delighted to have opened the store, which will serve thousands on the new estate, as well as staff and visitors to the hospital. The One Stop chain is synonymous with great customer service and I am confident my team and I will be able to bring that and more to local people.”
To celebrate the opening of the new One Stop store, leaflets have been distributed around the local area, which give customers a number of money off vouchers to use in the run up to Christmas. For more information on the offers available, please contact the store on 01604 751610.
The One Stop store chain has an enviable retail record and operates 500 stores across England and Wales – many of which serve the needs of small urban communities. The chain employs more than 7000 people across its operations.
