New Channel for Switched on Welsh Businesses
A prominent Cardiff businessman has joined forces with a global business TV channel, to offer businesses in Wales a powerful marketing platform.
Allan Blair Beaton, Director of Cardiff-based Social B2B, has teamed up with yourBusinessChannel, to launch an innovative video production and one to one marketing platform, for SME’s in Wales to broadcast messages about their business on an online television channel.
yBC Cardiff is the second local channel of yourBusinessChannel, which is also a YouTube partner, and will be launching multiple business channels on Google TV soon. yourBusinessChannel runs numerous industry focused, global channels, featuring such well known brands as BlackBerry, Google, PwC, HSBC and Skype.
Mr Blair Beaton says the new initiative is a logical expansion for his business, explaining: “We specialise in connecting people and businesses, online and in person. What better way to do that than by building an online resource packed with great video material that profiles innovative businesses in the area?”
“yBC Cardiff is a great way people can grow their businesses using internet technologies, in a way that’s cost effective and gets results. yBC Cardiff produce snappy, information-rich video clips that really help businesses, by presenting their proposition in a vibrant way that appeals to consumers”, he added.
Businesses who work with yBC Cardiff will also be able to showcase the videos on their own websites and social platforms, with the option of distributing them via email, using yBC’s VIP player.
“I am very excited about the energy in Cardiff’s business community and the opportunities that come from making better quality connections”, said Mr Blair Beaton.
Cardiff continues to be a hot spot for social media development, largely thanks to the efforts of Mr Blair Beaton.
What’s Next? 2011, the social media conference event, organized by Mr Blair Beaton earlier this year, created buzz, both on and offline, bringing together over 100 businesses in the Welsh capital.
