New Business Produces Improved Efficiency
An efficiency specialist is bringing its tried-and-tested military precision methods to production firms in the Midlands, with the launch of its new business arm.
The launch of the new venture, Terotek, was announced by Aspire Consulting Limited, which has been optimising complex operational systems for its clients in the defence sector for 15 years.
The firm will work with manufacturing and engineering firms across the region, to examine their entire business as a single system. Terotek will then apply their unique and innovative three-step, “analysis, optimisation and delivery” approach, to identify areas where the business can improve its efficiency and productivity.
Peter Stuttard, Managing Director of Terotek, said:
“In the current economic climate, every organisation has an imperative to optimise the use of its resources, but the sheer complexity of the problem is daunting. Many smaller organisations are discouraged and confused by the complexity, jargon and cost of typical improvement initiatives.
By looking at the bigger picture, Terotek is able to analyse the complete business system, and implement the most appropriate systems, from a wide range of management, financial and engineering techniques.
This innovative approach, branded by Terotek as ‘Systems Terology’, can also help to increase overall profitability, by reducing asset downtime, lowering costs, and improving safety.
Mr Stuttard explained:
“Systems Terology is designed to release the significant potential for increasing the efficiency of complex systems and processes. Our combination of thinking about the whole System and applying the most appropriate systems engineering techniques is very powerful in the quest for the greatest cost-effectiveness.
“Our aspiration is to bring our knowledge and experience to bear, to help organisations avoid the pitfalls of partial or sub-optimisation, and to deliver real demonstrable benefits.”
Terotek are so confident of their approach that they do not charge for their initial scoping study until they are able to demonstrate a return on investment of 10:1.
