MS Support Centre gets into the festive spirit
CHESHIRE The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Centre, based in Saltney, near Chester, prepares itself for a extra special celebration this Christmas.
The Centre – with a catchment covering Cheshire, Wirral, Merseyside and North Wales - this year celebrated a quarter of a century of providing care and support for people with MS and those closest to them.
To mark the end of this landmark year, and to get in the ‘Festive Spirit’, it seemed fitting for staff at the centre to organise a Christmas Gala Dinner by way of celebration.
Neil Kemsley, Chair of the MS Support Centre, said: “We’re really looking forward to the Christmas Gala Dinner. It’s been a really successful year for us with a variety of events to mark our special birthday.”
The event takes place on Friday, December 3rd at The Pavilion Suite, Chester Racecourse, with guests encouraged to arrive at 7pm for 7.30pm and carriages to be ordered by midnight.
Dress code for the evening is lounge suits and guests can look forward to music from Chester band “Handbag of Harmonies” and the “City Jazz Orchestra & Singers” - fresh from their 8th successive appearance at the prestigious Cork Jazz Festival.
Tickets are priced at £50 and are available from by visiting the ‘Events’ page of Centre’s website, at http://www.mssupport.co.uk. Alternatively, contact Katie Roebuck on 01244 678619 or katieroebuck@globalnet.co.uk for a booking form.
