Major Charity Event Helps Raise £21,000 for Hospice

The Wednesbury-based events and audiovisual hire specialist, which provided the stage, sound and lighting for an evening that raised £21,000 for the St Richard’s Hospice, has now helped raise more than £30,000 for charity in the past 2 months.

LNP Sound was delighted to offer its services to the Snow Drop Ball, which took place at Worcester Warriors Rugby Club’s Sixways Stadium on Saturday November 19, which was attended by more than 400 people.

The organisers only expected to raise between £11,000 to £14,000 on the night and were astonished when the event surpassed their early predictions and went on to generatemore than £21,000 for the cancer hospice in Worcester.

On top of the auction and raffle, the Snow Drop Ball featured a range of fundraising activities, including the 11-piece band ‘Jamie Night and the Big Swing,’ and a disco provided by a DJ from Beacon Radio.

Paul Spicer, owner of LNP Sound, said he was pleased that St Richard Hospice got in contact with him to help with the charity event.

“It gives us a great deal of satisfaction to know that we have helped to raise awareness and much needed donations for the hospice. The organisers were very happy with our contribution to the day,” said Paul.

LNP Sound is an audiovisual hire and video production company, as well as an entertainments agency that gets involved in charity events across the UK. It offers services at a charitable rate to enable charities to raise as much money as possible.
