Lucky Newlyweds to Scoop £10,000

A group of nine businesses from across Newport and Cardiff have joined forces to offer one lucky newlywed couple the chance to win back the cost of their wedding.

One of 20 couples who tie the knot at the picturesque Miskin Manor in 2012 as part of their new luxury wedding package will be offered the chance to win £10,000 back from their special day.

The ‘Golden Ticket’ promotion is being offered by RSVP, a collective of nine wedding specialists based across South Wales. This includes Miskin Manor and a collective of businesses who bring together expertise in events management, interiors, photography and all the essentials that come with planning the perfect day.

This exciting initiative is the brainchild of Newport-based photographer Peter Rowlands, who recognised the need for an affordable wedding package with a luxury feel.

Peter, who runs P&M Photography, said: “Organising a wedding can be a daunting and time consuming process, so we wanted to put together a beautiful wedding package for couples who don’t have the time to look around for their wedding essentials.”

The RSVP businesses came together after spotting a gap in the competitive wedding market for a complete wedding package at an affordable price.

Peter added: “The average cost of a wedding package stands at £18,500, which is beyond the budgets of a lot of couples looking to tie the knot, so we’ve come together to offer the perfect wedding package at Miskin Manor for just £10,000.”

The first 20 brides and grooms who book the RSVP package to marry at Miskin Manor next year will be invited to attend a special evening in January 2013, where one lucky bride will find a golden ticket in a complimentary gift, and receive the cost of their wedding back*.
