Jewellery Traders Hoping to Shine

Luxury jewellery manufacturer, Fope Gioielli, have launched their annual search for the company’s most successful retailers.

The award is now in its sixth year and seeks out the retailer with the greatest growth in a 12-month period.

Those lucky enough to scoop the prize will win a weekend for two in Venice, along with a piece of Venetian glassware and a commemorative plaque.

Last year’s winner was Edinburgh based Hamilton and Inches, who join the coveted group of previous winners which include Jacobs, of Reading who won in 2009.

This year Fope, founded in 1929 and is known worldwide for its high quality jewellery, has introduced two additional awards for 2011.

These include the ‘New Retailer of the Year’ category and the ‘Most Innovative Retailer of the Year.’

The new retailer award will go to the business which demonstrates exceptional sales success with Fope products in their first 12 months.

For the most innovative retailer award, those vying for the top prize will need to have shown real imagination and innovation in growing their business.

The prize for the two new awards is a beautiful piece of Venetian glassware and a commemorative plaque.

The competition is running until the end of May 2012 and is open to all Fope appointed retailers.

Although renowned for its 18ct gold jewellery, Fope Gioielli has recently launched a silver jewellery collection called TWIN. This range is manufactured with Fope's unique precious metal, SilverFope and is available through the Fope retailer network, covering all major cities and towns in the UK and Ireland.
