JCI and Emerald Frog Leap Ahead Together

A marketing agency and a networking organisation in Cambridge are coming on leaps and bounds, after forming a mutually beneficial partnership.

Emerald Frog, founded in May 2010 by business partners Jo Evans and Cheriee Chater, joined Junior Chamber International (JCI) Cambridge last summer.

As part of the organisation’s committee, the pair immediately volunteered their expertise to work on a marketing drive, promoting the benefits that membership of JCI Cambridge brings to businesses across the region.

The JCI Cambridge community has more than doubled as a direct result of Jo and Cheriee’s efforts, currently totalling 45 members. In recognition of this achievement, the Emerald Frog team won the prestigious JCI national award, for Best PR and Marketing in 2010.

“Emerald Frog Marketing has been an invaluable partner of JCI Cambridge over the last 18 months. They have been instrumental in raising our profile locally; the rapid growth of our Chamber is evidence of this. Thanks to Jo and Cheriee for all their hard work!” said Jen Little, JCI Cambridge President.

Jo and Cheriee’s hard work has also paid dividends for Emerald Frog, which has won six new key clients and raised its own web traffic by 15 per cent, as a direct result of its work with the chamber.

Emerald Frog has also gained a range of marketing opportunities, which have resulted in Jo and Cheriee being shortlisted for the ‘Women in Business’ and ‘Best New Business of the Year’ categories, in the East Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2011.
