Hole in one for the Prince’s Trust

Businesses from across the Midlands clubbed together recently to help raise more than £2,000 for the Prince’s Trust.

Redditch-based accountants, Hayward Wright held its first charity golf day on May 18, at Bromsgrove Golf Centre.

The event was held to raise money for the Prince’s Trust, a charity that helps young people make a difference to their own lives - and on the day Hayward Wright raised £2,100 for the cause.

The event attracted around 40 players from 10 companies. Among the firms taking part were Harrison Clarke Solicitors, Alliance Commercial Finance, LDL Business Solutions, Thursfields Solicitors, Eresponse Recruitment, Chantry Vellacot DKF, Marriage Makeover, HSBC and Barclays.

The winning team on the day were Thursfields, while the best player was Andrew Bradley, also from Thursfields.

The nearest the pin award went to Andrew Bradley, whilst the longest drive was won by Matt Wakeman. Dan Alvarez from LDL Business Solutions won the mini putting competition.

After a fantastic day of golf, a meal was enjoyed by the teams, together with presentations for the winners.
