Find an Eco-Lover This Recycle Week
A popular dating website set up for green enthusiasts, is marking the upcoming National Recycle Week by slashing membership fees.
The website, ecolovers.co.uk, is offering 50 % off a monthly membership to new sign-ups during Recycle Week, which is taking place between June 20 and 26.
The dating site was launched in April, and is aimed at environmentally conscious single people, who are looking for a partner with a similar, eco-friendly outlook on life.
Members range from those that recycle things in the house, all the way through to those that are living the ‘good life’, running smallholdings and organic farmers.
The website was the brainchild of Nick Shread, from Maidstone, Kent, who came up with the idea after spending time on his new allotment, with his partner Linda.
“About a year ago, my partner and I had secured an allotment space. I realised how welcoming the community was amongst fellow allotment holders. Then I became aware there were a lot of single people amongst them,” said Mr Shread.
“I got to thinking, it would be fantastic to help people, with a love of the world around them, to find a like-minded partner - and so ecolovers.co.uk was born. Since it was launched in April, the site has proved to be a great success, ” added Mr Shread.
Recycle Week is an annual event and the perfect opportunity to highlight the many ways people can do their bit to help the local environment. This includes recycling glass jars, as well as bottles, reusing, recycling or donating unwanted items and recycling at work or school.
To take advantage of this fantastic offer during Recycle Week, simply sign up at ecolovers.co.uk, using the promotional code: RECYCLEWEEK.
