Dress to Impress and Help the Heroes

A fancy-dress frenzy is planned to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity, in memory of fallen soldiers.

The event will take place at the Three Saints Hotel in Llantrisant, which is donating its function room free-of-charge to support the cause, to ensure that 100% of the funds raised on the night go to the charity.

Ex-serviceman Robert Mitchall approached the hotel to ask for support for the event after losing a friend in Afghanistan.

He said: “I wanted to still play my part after retiring from the army. We need to let our boys know that we haven't forgotten about them.”

The fancy dress party will take place in the exclusive Diamond Suite at the Three Saints Hotel on Saturday 2nd April, from 7pm until 1am. It will include music from live band ‘Midwife Crisis’, a disco and raffle. Entry is £5, with an additional £3 donation requested from anyone not in fancy dress.

Onkar Singh, General Manager at The Three Saints Hotel, said: “So many of our lads go to war to defend us and we want to make sure we let them know that we are still thinking about them. We are delighted to be able to give our function hall for free to such a great cause."
