Coventry man could become a football millionaire

A regular from a Coventry pub will meet Chris Tarrant when he takes part in a special football edition, of ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’

Ray Isaac took part in a promotion in the pub earlier this year and is one of the lucky ten people who made it through to the show. Drinkers in the Maudslay, who bought a pint of Foster's, John Smith's, Kronenbourg, Strongbow or Bulmers, were given a two-part game card, offering them instant prizes and the chance to face Chris Tarrant in the famous ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’ studio.

33 year-old Ray, the captain of the Maudslay’s football team, has already won a £1,000 cash-prize, and after being selected from 32,000 successful entries, will be heading to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood tomorrow (Sat 25th September) to take part in the special edition of the popular television show.

“I’m over the moon, I’ve already won a grand but the thought of winning a million is just unreal!” said businessman Ray.
