Ceramic watches set to be a Christmas hit.
A STYLISH range of ceramic watches has been unveiled in time for Christmas.
Danish Design is behind the fashionable watches, which are expected to take the UK by storm after they were showcased at the International Jewellery show at Earls Court last month (September).
Manchester-based MSS Watch Company is the sole distributor of the watches in the UK.
Martin Morris, director of the Swinton firm, said he expected the watches, which cost around two-hundred pounds, to be popular with style-conscience consumers.
“We're really excited to be the exclusive UK distributor of these watches,” he said.
“Ceramic watches have really taken off in the last ten years and the new Danish Design range really is beautiful. They are not particularly common and make the perfect gift for loved ones.”
Danish Designs was launched in 1988 by S. Weisz Uurwerken BV.
Demand for the high-quality modern watches, which are anti-allergic, comfortable to wear and come with a two-year worldwide warranty, soon grew. The watches now sell in 30 countries worldwide, including USA, Russia, Australia and Japan and sales stand at about 475,000 pieces a year.
“This new collection is particularly stunning,” says Martin, whose company is also the sole distributor for Rosendahl Watches and Issey Miyake watches in the UK.
“We believe there will be great demand for them this Christmas because of their quality and affordability.”
