Business networking opportunity in support of a good cause

Big-hearted businesses are invited to participate in a networking opportunity and lunch, in support of a worthwhile charity.

The MS Support Centre Directors’ Lunch, sponsored by Thomas Cole Internet Solutions, will be taking place on Friday 8th October. The event offers business owners a great opportunity to network with other senior business people in the region, in a fantastic location, whilst also supporting the centre.

The MS Support Centre supports people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and their families, providing professional therapies, support and advice to help with managing the symptoms of MS - an organisation that Thomas Cole Internet Solutions is very proud to support.

Ross Johnson from Thomas Cole says: "The lunches are a great opportunity for local like-minded businesses to get involved with the centre and to network with other senior business people."

The lunch will be held at Restaurant 1539 at the prestigious Chester Race Course. Diners will have the chance to hear former footballer, Mel Eves, who had a long career playing as a striker and left sided attacker for the Wolverhampton Wanderers, talk about his time as a football agent, and will also have the opportunity to find out more about the work of the MS Support Centre.

It currently costs over £220,000 a year to run the MS Support Centre; more than £4,000 a week, which makes a real difference to the lives of the people they support, ensuring that symptoms are managed in ways that reduce demand on the services of the NHS.

The MS Support Centre receives no automatic statutory funding, which means that to continue with their work, the funds they receive from events like the Directors' Lunch are vital.

This year, the lunch will be an extra-special event, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the MS Support Centre.
