Business Networkers Support MS Society

The fifth MS Support Centre Directors’ Lunch takes place at the prestigious Restaurant 1539 at Chester Race Course on Friday 4th March.

The event is an opportunity for senior business people from the region to network in a fantastic location, whilst supporting the MS Support Centre, which provides professional therapies, support and advice to people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions, and to their families.

Ross Johnson from Thomas Cole Internet Solutions, sponsors of the event, said:

"Following the success of the Centre’s 25th Anniversary last year, it is an honour to support such a worthy cause again.”

It currently costs over £220,000 a year - that’s more than £4,000 a week - to run the MS Support Centre, which makes a real difference to the lives of the people they support, helping them to manage the symptoms of their condition and often helping to reduce demand on the services of the NHS.

Based in Saltney, the MS Support Centre receives no automatic statutory funding, which means that to continue with their work, the funds they receive from events like the Directors' Lunch are vital.

Anyone interested in attending can call the Centre on: 01244 678619 to book a place.
