Brand Face Lift is Just What the Doctor Ordered

A clinical commissioning group in the Midlands has undergone a slick rebrand, to become more user-friendly for patients and practitioners alike.

The Redditch & Bromsgrove Consortium has rebranded to the Redditch & Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group (RBCCG), under a Government-led initiative.

Cheltenham-based Octopi Design was commissioned to conduct the branding work, developing both a new corporate identity for the group, and constructing a new, accessible website for RBCCG (www.rbccg.org.uk <http://www.rbccg.org.uk/> ).

The site has two key areas, providing an information portal for the general public, and an area where GPs and Group members can share information.

RBCCG Practice Manager Lead, Linda Pratt, who was delighted with the end result, said: “We have received only positive feedback about the website and it is proving invaluable in sharing information with all parties concerned”.

RBCCG comprises of 23 GP practices across the districts of Redditch and Bromsgrove, which have a combined patient list of around 171,000 people.

It aims to achieve improvements in people’s health and wellbeing, by making collective commissioning decisions on the development, procurement and review of health services.

Octopi Director, Dave Boon, said: “Working on exciting projects, such as RBCCG, is of utmost importance to us, and we thrive on partnering with our clients in order to develop and get the best from their brands.
