BBQ giveaway Cookes up a storm

Lucky customers visiting a Christchurch furniture store got more than they bargained for last month.

Cookes Furniture Store, based on Somerford Road, held a Spring Preview Event recently to launch the store’s Spring Savings Campaign.

Visitors were given a sneak preview of the stores new spring range and one visitor walked away with a barbecue worth £300.

The preview event, held on Thursday March 17, saw customers enjoy a glass of fizz and nibbles, whilst browsing through the store.

Stewarts Garden Centre supported the day with each customer getting a £10 Stewarts voucher.
They also donated a Weber Barbecue worth £300 for a prize draw, which was won by Mr & Mrs E J Inns, of Bournemouth.

Mrs Inns was delighted with the prize: “The staff were most friendly and helpful, and it was a wonderful surprise to win the barbecue.”
