Award-winning IT firm celebrates two years of HTG membership

DUDLEY-BASED IT firm, JamesCash.co.uk, is celebrating two years of success following the decision to join worldwide business peer group, the Heartlands Technology Group (HTG).

In October 2008, JamesCash.co.uk and Netlink IT independently joined the first HTG peer group to be created for IT solution providers within the UK.

Already popular in the USA, Canada and Australia; members of the HTG use it as one of their key sources of industry information, peer sharing, vision, learning and vendor relations.

Groups meet on a quarterly basis and act as a “virtual board of directors”; prompting a level of trust that enables members to share best practice, make financial comparisons, hold each other accountable for the execution of ideas and help each other to grow as a business.

In October 2009, mutual respect led JamesCash.co.uk and Netlink IT to merge and in October 2010, 12 months on from the merger and two years on from becoming HTG members, the company has grown by 60% - winning awards and creating new jobs in the process.

Founded in 2003 by James Cash, JamesCash.co.uk is a Managed IT Service Provider that offers flat-fee outsourced IT solutions to small businesses, predominantly within the West Midlands but also to clients across the UK.

Founded by Richard Tubb in 2003, Netlink IT was also a Managed IT Service Provider, offering similar services to JamesCash.co.uk, so the decision was made to accelerate the business growth of both companies by merging them.

Over the two years since joining HTG, being part of the peer group has created opportunities both locally and internationally.

Director Richard Tubb was a speaker at both the 2009 (New Orleans) and 2010 (Washington, DC) Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conferences; presenting on how JamesCash.co.uk had grown its business by collaborating with other IT providers worldwide.
