A room with a view
A BUSINESS centre in the Worcestershire countryside boasts a stunning new conference hall, following an extensive makeover.
The newly constructed Bredon Room at Deer Park Hall, near Pershore, boasts a spectacular ‘wall of glass’, providing conference goers with panoramic views across the deer park towards the iconic Malvern Hills.
Building on Deer Park Hall’s established reputation for offering a conference venue with a difference, the Bredon Room incorporates the latest technology and equipment in an environment that escapes from the traditional, stuffy image usually associated with business conferences.
Caron Steele, owner of Deer Park Hall said: “We have tried to create an invigorating environment capitalising on the beautiful views at Deer Park Hall. Experience shows that plenty of natural daylight and an idyllic rural setting, away from distractions can increase delegate productivity and focus, giving our customers better value for money. With air conditioning, state of the art facilities and free on-site car parking, we hope we are on to a winner”.
The new Bredon Room opens out onto the beautiful Lambs Leap Lawn and Bredon Hill, where a wide range of corporate activities, such as off-road driving, falconry, archery and clay shooting can be arranged for conference attendees if required.
Aiden Marsh, of CSa Landscaping, who was one of the first to use the Bredon Room commented: "Deer Park Hall provided a fantastic venue for our conference. All the arrangements were made quickly and efficiently and the day ran very smoothly thanks to the professionalism and service of the staff. Delegates raved about the fabulous views and thoroughly enjoyed the day"
Deer Park Hall, situated on a 1,400 acre farming estate, is a Grade II Listed building, dating back to the 1750s. With the addition of the Bredon Room, it now has three main meeting areas for business conferences, including an oak-panelled function room, complete with fireplace and chandeliers. With the ability to cater for groups of any size between two and 150 delegates, Deer Park Hall offers maximum flexibility.
The construction of the Bredon Room was part of the recent £500,000 renovation of Deer Park Hall, funded partly by a £190,000 grant from Advantage West Midlands Rural Development Programme.
