Wedding Show Raises Vital Funds For Local Charity
Brides-to-be can take advantage of a free wedding show at Deer Park Hall in Worcestershire – and help to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.
The show will take place on Sunday 22 January, between 10am and 4pm, when brides can meet wedding event experts, ranging from food to fashion, from across the Worcestershire area.
Five caterers will provide delicious tasters and a fashion show of wedding dresses and accessories will feature Worcester model Jamie Roche, who appeared on Katie Price's recent TV show, Signed by Katie.
A total of 17 Worcestershire businesses from the wedding events sector will be exhibiting at the show. Entry is free, although guests will be asked to make a donation to the local charity, St Richard’s Hospice.
Local hair dressers and make-up artists will do trial make overs, and there will be a display of sumptuous cakes from Made by Marie. The event will also include a performance by popular magician Ben Hanlin, and advice from professional wedding photographer David J Perkins.
Caron Steele, owner of Deer Park Hall said: “We've had so much fun organising this event. It's been great speaking to the local businesses who are enthusiastic about the show and are grateful to have the opportunity to put their business on a pedestal.”
Caron added: “St Richard’s Hospice cares for patients and families in Worcestershire who are living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Each year the hospice gives free care and support to around 2,200 patients and their families, helping them to achieve the best quality of life possible. We are delighted to be able to offer our support to the local charity and it's great to see the whole community coming together.”
